Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation Review

Hey everyone! Today I will be sharing my thoughts and opinions on how the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation in the shade Classic Ivory (#120) worked out for me. I have very oily skin and this is a great formula for us oily skinned ladies!

Price & Shades
I purchased mine at Wal-Mart for around $8.00 CAD which is a fair price. They had 24 shades to choose from when I was at the store and selecting a colour was not hard at all because you are able to see the colour through the bottle.

Pros
I will say that the formula dries quickly onto the skin so you need to work fast! It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and it is build-able if you want to go for a more full coverage look. It does blend out well and goes on smoothly! I still do need to touch-up throughout the day which is normal because I have very oily skin but this does not break me out and it doesn't clog my pores.

Cons
What I disliked about this product is that it oxidized on me throughout the day. At the end of the day, when I looked at my reflection in my car mirror, it looked slightly orange. I do set my face with a translucent powder that has no colour, so it is definitely the foundation that is causing it. I do not like that you need to pour out the product either onto: the back of your hand, a brush or a mixing palette just to get the product out. That can get messy and it is not ideal for using in the mornings right before work! In general, I feel that I go through bottles without the pump, that you need to pour the product out, a lot faster! Some people mentioned that it blurs their pores but I really didn't feel that this foundation did that to my pores.

Dry Skinned Beauties
Keep in mind that this foundation is designed for normal to oily skin and I would say that anyone with dry skin should stay away from this formula as it will only make your dry patches look more noticeable.

Overall Thoughts
You can't beat the price of this product. I do wish that it did come with a pump but I know that I can just add one on myself! I do not like the fact that it oxidizes throughout the day. I do like it overall and despite it oxidizing on me, it would be perfect to wear in the summer time! I will just have to purchase a lighter shade next time. It does not replace my holy grail foundation though which is the Revlon ColorStay Whipped Foundation.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review! What are your thoughts on this foundation?

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.
